Qld: ALP to have Woodridge candidate in place by Monday

Queensland premier PETER BEATTIE says the ALP plans to have chosen a candidate for MIKE
KAISER's seat of Woodridge by Monday.

Mr KAISER ended his political career yesterday, announcing he wouldn't contest the
next election, after admitting to the Shepherdson Inquiry that he'd been involved in electoral
fraud in 1986.
