Arc: S.Korea's Park wins women's gold

ATHENS, Aug 18 Reuters - Park Sung-hyun won South Korea's sixth straight Olympic gold
medal in the women's individual archery today after beating compatriot Lee Sung-jin 110-108
in the final.

In the 12-arrow shootout, top seed Park finished with a bullseye for maximum 10 points
to clinch the match.

In the bronze medal match at 19th-century Panathinaiko Stadium, birthplace of the modern
Games 108 years ago, Alison Williamson of Britain beat Taiwan's Yuan Shu-chi 105-104.

South Korea's women archers have completely dominated the sport in the past two decades,
winning Olympic gold in every event they have ever contested, making them one of the Games'
greatest ever team dynasties.
